Meta has recently announced the 131 participants of the Facebook Community Accelerator Program, including 9 from the Philippines.
This eight month-long program provides selected community leaders of Facebook groups with training, mentorship and funding for an initiative that extends their community’s impact. This includes Home Buddies, Bounce Back PH Official, Pig Producers Group, Mobile Chess Club Philippines, Queer Safe Spaces (Family RoTin), Philippine Surfing Spots, Scoliosis Philippines Support Group, Bike Scouts Philippines and Phonetography.
Through this program, Facebook will be awarding over $7M USD in funding to Accelerator participants globally to support work that advances their communities’ goals.
